Savage and Whitten Wholesale Ltd. (est 2000) is based in Shepherds Way, Carnbane Industrial Estate, Newry, family-run business,.

The business comprises of two companies, Savage & Whitten, founded 10 years ago by the merger of two longstanding Today’s Group members, Newry Cash & Carry and J&E Whitten, and Independent Catering Services (ICS). Mark, who previously worked in the textiles industry, and his business partner Jim Noble took over Savage & Whitten in October 2005. At the same time Mark and the original owners of the company, Richard and John Whitten and Norman Savage, founded ICS to supply dry goods to the catering trade.  At that point turnover for the two businesses was £17 million, but this year Mark is expecting a turnover of £30 million for Savage & Whitten and £10 million for ICS.

We offer free delivery to all of Northern Ireland and many parts of Southern Ireland. For those located outside of our personal delivery service we have negotiated very competitive haulage rates.

Our Customer Service Team is available from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, to help with enquires and orders.

With a fully automated picking system we offer a very high level of accuracy and fulfilment.
